Start from the previous lesson. Pekpinne numbers and copies it for you. Starter boards for lesson goals, word walls and group work.
Timer, clock and work mode
Visual timer, digital or analog clock and work modes – "in pairs", "silent work" – readable from the back of the room.
Help queue
Students join a queue through the student link with their desk number. You see the order and waiting time on the board.
Exit ticket
An anonymous check at the end of the lesson. Students answer on their devices and you see the result straight away.
Plan with colleagues
Invite a colleague to a project. You edit the same lessons, see when the other has a lesson open, and can always make your own copy.

Student link – no phones needed
Students type a six-digit code on a school computer or tablet and see the board without logging in. The link lasts the day.

What is Pekpinne?
Pekpinne is a digital classroom board (classroom screen) for teachers in Sweden. On the board you show the lesson schedule, time, instructions and tools such as a timer, help queue and exit ticket. Pekpinne runs in the browser, is built with teachers and stores data in Sweden.
What does Pekpinne cost?
Pekpinne is free during the 2026/27 pilot year. After that there is a free tier, Teacher Pro at 29 SEK/month and a school licence from 2,990 SEK/year. Existing users will be told well before anything costs money.
Does Pekpinne work with the school phone ban?
Yes. Everything is shown on the classroom screen. The help queue and exit ticket open on school computers or tablets: students go to app.pekpinne.se/k and type the code from the board. No phones are needed, and without student devices you simply skip those tools.
Can I plan lessons together with colleagues?
Yes. Invite a colleague to a project as "can edit" or "can view". You work in the same lessons, and if you both change the same thing at once you choose which version to keep. Class lists are never shared.
Do students need accounts?
No. Students see the board on the classroom screen or through the student link, without logging in and without any data about them being stored.
Where is our data stored?
In Sweden: Pekpinne runs on servers in Stockholm with a Swedish hosting company. Boards and images are never stored with US cloud services.
Does it work on our smartboard?
Yes. Pekpinne runs in the browser on smartboards, computers, Chromebooks and phones, and can be installed as an app.
Can I move my boards from ClassBoardz?
Yes. Download your data export from ClassBoardz and we'll help you move boards, lessons and images. Name lists are not moved to the server.
Can we get a data processing agreement?
Yes, always free of charge. Get in touch and we'll send the agreement and subprocessor list.
Is Pekpinne accessible?
Pekpinne is built to WCAG 2.2 level AA: everything works with a keyboard, widgets can be moved without dragging, images can be described for screen readers, and everything works in dark mode and on small screens. Known issues are listed in the accessibility statement.
